Carrie Lynn Guarrero, Producing Branch Manager
Carrie Guarrero has had the honor of helping thousands of families reach their dreams, build worth, and advance their goals through homeownership in the decades she has served the public and real estate professionals as a mortgage loan officer. Carrie started young in the industry, and is now a team and industry leader. There is a lot of excitement when buying a first or a new home, but Carrie’s work and relationships with people extend far beyond closing because home financing is a large, central part of an individual’s and family’s financial picture. A home is one of the most basic needs that every person has whether they own or rent, and Carrie and her team are committed to helping people in all phases to make the most of their housing dollars and opportunities. Carrie and her team work with everyone from first-time homebuyers to folks moving up, downsizing, remodeling or reorganizing, helping them to make informed decisions and keeping their long-term plans in mind. CG Home Loan Partners understands that homeownership builds stronger, healthier finances, neighborhoods, and communities.
Parents of seven children, Carrie and her husband, Dan, are also directors of The Village in Waterville, a non-profit, faith-based food shelf, community, event and retreat center.

Randy Cullen, Branch Manager
Decades in the lending industry have Randy Cullen focusing on legacy. Randy began his career in the wholesale aspect of the business in the 1990s. Through his passion for helping people finance their goals and dreams, Randy has worked with scores of borrowers, as well as mentored and led others to provide excellent service and a great customer experience. Randy’s experience has been built through many different market phases and he now leads CG Home Loan Partners with Carrie Guarrero to help borrowers and lending professionals benefit and excel in this new housing and regulatory era. Outside of work, Randy enjoys time with his three children and five grandchildren.
Jim Ryder, Sr. Loan Officer
Jim Ryder's career as a mortgage loan officer spans decades, market cycles and conditions. A lifelong “numbers guy,” Ryder has helped people finance homes through times when there were double-digit interest rates, runaway home appreciation, and other market and economic fluctuations. Understanding that housing is the biggest expense for most people and its importance to consumers’ overall financial health, Ryder has chosen to serve and be active in the industry as part of his service to the public.
He is a Minnesota Mortgage Association Lifetime Achievement Award recipient and a former member of their board of directors. Ryder works closely with financial planners, Certified Public Accountants, and attorneys to help people plan and succeed at all stages of their lives – from buying a first home to reverse mortgages.
A grandfather of two and a self-labeled “car-a-holic,” Ryder has owned over 75 automobiles. He loves to travel with his partner, Theresa, and, of course, look at cars.
Jason Leight, Loan Officer
Jason Leight has a head for numbers and a heart for service. His extensive knowledge of the loan process coupled with a proven ability to navigate the complexities of strict underwriting guidelines and government regulations have made him a consistently top-ranked producer in the industry for over 14 years. But Jason believes in taking his role far beyond that of a loan originator. Living by his personal motto of “doing the right thing, for the right reason” has earned him the reputation of a consummate professional with a singular dedication to customer care. Jason works as a true collaborator with his clients, helping them to not just secure financing, but to achieve their dream home scenario on all fronts.
In his leisure hours, you can find Jason spending time at home (which he affectionately calls “the circus”) with his wife, Terra, their four children, and a menagerie that includes three dogs, a parakeet, and four chickens. A passionate and accomplished outdoorsman, Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/Wildlife Biology from the University of Minnesota, and enjoys hunting and fishing abroad. Of course, many of the fishing expeditions coincide with travel to warm destinations like Mexico and Florida, as Jason also loves to travel.
Elizabeth Vaughan, Loan Officer
Elizabeth Vaughan has been helping people finance their homes for over two decades. Liz began her professional life as a chef, but moved to the mortgage industry when she started her family and needed to lessen the physical demands of her work and switch to more conventional hours. She noticed a parallel between the rules, attention to detail, and precision required in creating high-level cuisine to the attributes it takes to serve the borrowing public with excellence. Liz has worked in every aspect of mortgage, which brought her to her current position of Production Manager where she says timing is a key ingredient in the recipe of a successful mortgage. When she's not working to exceed customer expectations, Liz enjoys cooking, painting and gardening.
